Promote culture as a common good and a driver of territorial development
Born in 2020, the Catania Book Festival is a unique space of cross-contamination: among disciplines, languages, and new forms of expression, it has been able to connect the publishing world with that of innovation, art, education, and active citizenship
Over the years it has contributed to the enhancement of the city of Catania, its historical and cultural heritage, and today is part of the UNESCO Network of Cultural Festivals of Val di Noto. It has also provided free access to students, promoted hundreds of meetings with schools, and funded scholarships in various fields.

The 5th Edition
The 5th edition of the Catania Book Festival confirmed the great affection of readers who joined us from all over Italy.
With almost 13,000 visitors, over 300 guests and more than 130 events over the three days of the program, it is confirmed as the most attended book festival in Sicily and one of the most attended in Southern Italy.
This year too, the Catania Book Festival recorded strong engagement on its social media, with over 500,000 users reached and almost 20,000 interactions. Moreover, youth participation was particularly high, with more than 50% of visitors under 35 years old.
